I went to visit a foundation. I left with a series.
The Fondation Jan Michalski stopped me before I even reached the books. Brutalist concrete, curved wood, staircases that feel like sculptures, light cutting through volumes like it was placed there on purpose. I shot what I saw — angles, textures, the unexpected poetry of a WC sign standing alone in the middle of an architectural masterpiece.
Sometimes the building is the art.
